Mary Tamm Obituary
DAYTONA BEACH - Mary Louise Nichols Tamm, 76, of South Peninsula Drive, a teacher's aide at Long Street School, died Tuesday at Living Well Assisted Living Facility. Mrs. Tamm, a native of Wilmington, Del., moved here in 1987 from West Palm Beach. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and attended Stetson University where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She enjoyed fishing, boating and travel. Survivors include her husband of eight years, John "Jack"; a son, W. Drake, Milton, Del.; two daughters, Lorraine Metakes and Tricia Leedy, both of Port Orange; a brother, Henry Harkins, Pensacola; two sisters, Alice Bowen, Harrisburg, Va., and Patricia Wade, Brookeland, Texas; and eight grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129. Volusia Memorial, Port Orange, is in charge.
